Privacy policy

ClientCheck compiles plain-English reports on UK companies for suppliers, agencies, freelancers and tradespeople. If you have a question about your data, contact us at privacy@clientcheck.co.uk.

• The company name or company number you ask us to check
• Your name and your business name
• Your email address

We do not ask for payment details for your free first report. We do not collect special category data.

We use the details you submit to compile and send the report you requested, and to reply to you about that request. We may email you about your order. We do not sell your information.

Report content is compiled from Companies House, County Court Judgment registers and UK payment-practice filings. These are public sources about companies, not about you.

We keep your order details for as long as needed to deliver your report and to keep business records. You can ask us to delete your details at any time and we will do so unless we are required to keep them.

We share your information only with the service providers that let us operate - for example our email and hosting providers - and where the law requires it.

Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email privacy@clientcheck.co.uk and we will respond. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
